When completed, Trump Place will have 7,500 residential units and more than 2 million square feet of commercial space.
Also, with Asian investors, Mr. Trump has purchased the world-famous Empire State Building and is in the process of developing a strategy for the partnership to maximize economic opportunity. In May of 1998, Mr. Trump acquired The General Motors Building, a 1.7 million square foot property located on Fifth Avenue at 59th Street, directly across from Central Park. This prestigious asset is widely regarded as the most valuable property in the United States. Constructed in 1968, the building has always been at least 98% occupied and now hosts such notable tenants as General Motors, Estee Lauder, and FAO Schwarz. Under Mr. Trump’s management, the property will realize its substantial retail and office potential.

Hale House is America’s first and best known child care agency, specializing in nurturing and caring for babies born addicted to drugs and alcohol and now, those born infected with HIV virus. A not-for-profit tax exempt organization, Hale House is more than a quarter century old. Hale House rose to international attention when President Ronald Reagan introduced Mother Clara Hale to the joint session of Congress during his State of the Union Address, President Reagan called her “an American hero”, then appointed her, Mother Hale, and her daughter, Dr. Lorraine E. Hale, co-founders of Hale House, to his National Drug Free America Task Force.
Since 1968, the Hales have cared for more than 3,000 children born addicted to heroin, cocaine and other drugs. They have additionally founded a home for mothers and their babies who are suffering from AIDS or infected with the virus, created a Community-Based Family providing peer support and adult mentors for troubled youngsters, provided furnished apartments for mothers recovering from drug addiction, as well as launched research programs focusing on the problems of drug or alcohol addicted mothers and their families.
