Seiko-Cal 290 “Gyro-Marvel”
Seiko’s first own gentleman’s automatic wristwatch, circa 1959, in stainless steel with snap-on back.
Ball-bearing mounted rotor with heavy metal ring winding in both directions with excenter lever reversing system ‘Magic Lever’ (at 8 o’clock). Plain glucydur balance wheel, self-compensating flat spring. Diashock-shock-resistance (dial pitted, case with wear).
