Lapping film products are precision grinding tools for obtaining fine and finest surfaces up to Ra values of approx. 0.05 &N° 956;m.

The base is a homogeneous, tear-resistant and low-stretch film base made of polyesters. The grain distribution is substantially narrower than in the case of other abrasives, and in combination with a dispersion coating allows the finest surfaces to be obtained.

All lapping films should be used wet. Water, emulsion or other commercially available coolants can be used as grinding aids.
